THE BIG C FOUNDATION
WHAT : Courteney Cox and David Arquette invite Angelino’s to join them for an evening of hope, inspiration, healing and oneness as 10 artists from all walks of life share their personal journeys on a subject affecting us all.
THE BIG C is a non-profit bi-annual performance series with the goal of creatively bridging the subject of Cancer by sharing the stories of those who have experienced it through performance.
WHO: NY Model and Ovarian Cancer survivor Sharon Blynn, poet and Hodgkins survivor Eric Trules, musician David Zasloff, film director Tony Vitale, Sri Susilowati presents an Indonesian modern dance on Breast Cancer, 28-year-old Breast Cancer survivor Wilma McClanahan, Anal Cancer survivor/actress Patty Tossy, Lydia Hyslop, members of The Lineage Dance Co. perform original dance pieces on the subject of Cancer, and screenings of short films by Karen Aqua.

THE BIG C was created by Actor-Writer-Producer Christian Jon Meoli and presented in July 2005 during Cabaret Voltaire’s residency at The Steve Allen Theater. This event was inspired from Meoli’s experience caregiving for his Mother Sandra during her 4-year battle with Cancer.
